Miss Nothing (except clothes)

Disillusioned rich girl Taylor Momsen has gone all out for her latest musical foray Miss Nothing.



By all out, I do of course mean all the way to the bargain bin of her local HMV - with Miss Nothing musically identical to Hole's Celebrity Skin. It's hard not to draw parallels between Momsen and original Winehouse, Courtney Love, at the best of times, but after this latest release I can only assume 17 year old Taylor has taken the lead singer of Hole and ex-wife of Kurt Cobain as her life idol. This is a shame because from her looks in this latest video, the Gossip Girl actress can look forward to receiving a lot of dick in the near future - but so did Courtney Love. Before the drugs/alcohol/plastic surgery.

It's not just musically where the similarities lie - stylistically it's easy to see the inspiration Momsen is drawing on;

Despite enjoying her music and liking the genre, I find it difficult not to dislike someone who brands other artists "Fake" whilst not exactly paving her own path. But then again, she's rich, famous and hot, so I'm sure everything will work out fine in the end
